I offer a portrait photography service in and around Hampshire and the Test Valley. Since having children myself, I have realised the importance of documenting family life with high quality photographs. When I had my children, I wasn’t working as a professional photographer. Like most people, I have tons of photos of my children as babies and toddlers, but no professional photos! I so regret not having had some taken, or having made a career change sooner…
Family Portraits
Studio portraits provide stunning mementoes for your family, which will become treasured possessions, especially when properly printed, framed and hung on the wall, which is where your photos should be: not on your phone! I can capture natural family interactions to create informal photos and/or you can get dressed up for a more formal portrait.
Fine Art Portraits
I absolutely love creating fine art style photo portraits of children. What makes a fine art photo is the use of a similar style to fine art painters, using creative lighting and simple set ups. I have some props and outfits in my studio which you are welcome to use, or you can bring your own.
What to Expect
My photo shoots are held at my cosy garden studio in Anna Valley, just outside Andover and usually take around an hour, but I have a very relaxed approach and tend to go with the flow, so it may take a little longer, or a little less.
I will create a gallery of 20 images, which will be ready around 3 weeks after your shoot. You can then choose your package and any products (wall art, albums etc) at your viewing session, which will take place back at my studio. I offer various packages for you to buy your photos, plus optional add-ons.
How much does it cost?
The session fee is £45 (£65 for baby or cake smash shoots), which is payable on booking. You don’t need to choose a package until your viewing session, when you get to see your beautifully edited images.
How and when to book
My diary is designed to be very flexible, as I spend a lot of time editing and running my business, as well as taking photos. I try to book photoshoots on weekdays, as I have children and want to spend time with them at the weekend, but I will look at weekends if necessary.
If you’d like to book a Zoom chat or phone call to talk through the session, please let me know. If you feel ready to go ahead and book, let’s arrange a date!
I look forward to hearing from you.
