The thought of leaving the house with a newborn can feel overwhelming.

That's why I've designed my studio experience to be as easy and stress-free as possible.

My warm and welcoming garden studio in Anna Valley provides a peaceful environment where you can sit back, relax and enjoy watching your baby's first professional photoshoot.

Sessions are entirely baby-led, with plenty of time for feeding, changing, cuddles and settling.

There is never any pressure to rush.
Most newborn sessions last between two and three hours, allowing your baby to remain comfortable throughout.

Many parents tell me that the session feels like a rare opportunity to slow down and simply enjoy being with their new baby.

When Should You Book Your Newborn Session?

The ideal time to book is during pregnancy, usually shortly after your 20-week scan.

When you reserve your session, I make space around your due date in my diary and finalise the session date once your baby arrives.

Newborn photographs are typically taken within the first two weeks after birth, when babies tend to be sleepier and naturally curl into those beautiful newborn poses.

However, if your baby has already arrived, please don't worry. I sometimes have late availability, so it's always worth asking. Older newborn babies can still be beautifully photographed.

My dedicated garden studio is located in Anna Valley, just outside Andover, and is easily accessible from across Hampshire, Wiltshire and Berkshire.

Your questions answered

The ideal age is typically between 7 and 14 days old, although beautiful newborn portraits can be created at any age.

Very little. I provide wraps, blankets, outfits and carefully selected props. Simply bring your baby, milk, nappies and anything else you would normally need for an outing.

Absolutely. Family and sibling photographs are included in every newborn session.

You’ll only need to bring essentials like nappies, milk (if bottle-feeding), and a dummy if your baby uses one. I have a wide selection of props, wraps, and outfits, but feel free to bring any special items you’d like included in the photos.

That's completely normal. When you book during pregnancy, I reserve space around your due date and allow flexibility around your baby's arrival.

Absolutely! I encourage family members to be part of the newborn photoshoot. Some of the most treasured images are those with parents and siblings, capturing your family’s love and connection.

The newborn stage passes incredibly quickly, but beautiful photographs allow you to revisit those memories for decades to come.
