At H Jones Photography, I offer relaxed and natural cake smash photography sessions from my purpose-built garden studio in Anna Valley, Hampshire.

Families travel from across Hampshire, including Winchester, Basingstoke, Andover, Romsey, Stockbridge, Southampton and Salisbury, to celebrate their little one's first birthday with a fun and memorable photoshoot.

Everything is provided for you, including the cake, outfits, props and splash bath, so all you need to do is arrive and enjoy the experience.

The session usually begins with simple portraits, capturing your little one's smile, expressions and personality before the cake makes an appearance.

Next comes the cake smash itself.

Some babies dive straight in and cover themselves in icing from head to toe.

Others take a more cautious approach, gently poking a finger into the buttercream before deciding what to do next.

There is no right or wrong reaction.

In fact, some of the funniest and most memorable photographs come from babies who aren't quite sure what to make of the cake at all.

To finish the session, we move on to a warm splash bath, allowing your little one to clean up whilst creating even more adorable photographs.
