Having professional photos taken of your precious little bundle is now a must-have investment for many parents. Of course, you will take hundreds of photos on your phones or home cameras, which is only to be encouraged! My daughters can spend hours looking back through baby photos and videos of themselves, usually in fits of giggles (make sure you regularly take lots of video clips of everyday life!).

However, you can only get the more artistic style of photo from a professional photographer. I have invested a lot of time, effort and money into creating my business in order to provide you with these very special images. I carefully control the space, equipment and lighting conditions to my personal style and taste.

Clients often tell me they find the whole experience extremely relaxing and enjoyable, which really means a lot to me. I feel very lucky to have a job that I love and which brings happiness to others.

Free Mini Maternity Shoot

I'm currently offering the option to have a free mini pregnancy photoshoot when you book a newborn baby photoshoot. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate your amazing body and this incredible time in your life. 

I offer these at around 7-8 months, roughly, but everybody is different and I make sure you are offered a shoot at the best time for you.

You are very welcome to bring family members with you and even your fur baby!

Your questions answered

Book your session with me as soon as possible, as I get very busy! Book for approximately 10 days after your due date. Once your baby arrives, email me and we can confirm the exact date, ideally when baby is 5-10 days new. I’ll ask you to complete a booking and consent form to give me permission to take photos of your family. The session fee is due on booking to secure the time in my diary. The session fee doesn’t include any photos, which can be purchased at your viewing session, around 3 weeks after your photoshoot.
Don’t worry! Babies rarely arrive on their due date. My diary is flexible as I spend a lot of time editing images to create beautiful galleries for you, so I can always move things around. Just contact me when your baby arrives and we will book in your newborn photoshoot for when your baby is between 5-10 days new.
Yes! Absolutely. In fact I will ensure you appear in the photos. Everyone tells me they hate having their photo taken, but I will help you with how to stand and how to look relaxed, even if you don’t feel your best. I even have some beautiful long gowns to create some stylish shots of mum and baby and create some hugely popular photos of dads holding their babies. There is no extra charge for these photos. Just think how you and your baby will love to look back on these special photos.
Newborn photoshoots are very much baby led, so there is plenty of time for feeding, changing and cuddling. Allow 2-3 hours for your newborn baby photoshoot but if we need a little longer to capture those perfect shots, that is not a problem.
No! Absolutely not! Us newborn photographers say newborn photo shoots are best done when baby is around 7-10 days old, but that is not set in stone by any means. When babies are still brand new, they spend most of their time curled up, sleeping. This makes it easier for trained newborn photographers to pose babies safely in those cute classic photos you see. However, I have held a huge number of photoshoots with older babies. These are a different kind of session, as baby could be awake more, but this means we can capture some amazing wide eyed shots! I can still wrap older babies and make them look tiny too!
