It’s best to book the session when your baby is around 11 months old. This allows the photos to be ready in time for their first birthday celebrations, or you can schedule it right after the big day to capture them at this milestone. I recommend booking several weeks in advance to secure your preferred date.
I offer a variety of cute outfits, including rompers, tutus, and dresses, which are available for you to use during the session. If you have a specific theme or special outfit in mind, you’re more than welcome to bring your own! I recommend keeping it simple, as the focus will be on your baby and the cake.
Yes! I provide a gorgeous, professionally made cake for the shoot. You can choose between a giant cupcake or a simple naked cake. If your baby has any dietary restrictions, such as allergies, please let me know in advance so I can accommodate your needs.
A typical cake smash session lasts about an hour. This allows plenty of time for some pre-smash portraits, the cake smash itself, and a fun bubble bath at the end, which helps clean up and gives your baby another chance for adorable photos.
Absolutely! I can accommodate family members or siblings in the cake smash session. This adds an extra layer of memories as you capture some family shots before the cake smash begins. There is a small additional fee to account for extra time and editing.
Not all babies are eager to dive into the cake, and that’s perfectly okay! Whether your baby smashes the cake, plays with it, or simply explores it, I’ll capture beautiful, natural photos that reflect their personality and curiosity. We can also add some gentle encouragement if needed.
After the session, I carefully select and edit the best images. Within a week, you’ll be invited to a private viewing session where you can see over 20 beautifully edited images. From here, you can choose your favorite photos and any print or digital packages.
